Bucaramanga, Colombia
In alliance with the non-profit Mare-Colombia, we are currently working to mentor four Colombian peers who will participate as the first Colombian team ever in RoboCup Junior. John Paul traveled to Colombia with our soccer bot kits to support and promote a robot soccer tournament in Bucaramanga, Colombia named “Torneo de Futbol con Robots en Santander” as well as donate our own 3D printed kits. Working with the contestants from the Torneo de Futbol tournament, we were able to interview and select a qualified team and are excited about the steps ahead. To our delight, we were met with significant media coverage, such as being nationally televised, a dedicated page in the country's most prominent newspapers, and even having the opportunity to meet the governor of Santander to discuss future robotics opportunities. The news coverage can be viewed below.

Lab School in Washington DC
In partnership with the Lab School in Washington D.C., we are currently working to mentor Washingtonian peers who will participate in RoboCup Junior. The Lab School is an innovative learning community dedicated to educating students with language-based learning differences. Since the summer, we are proudly mentoring interested Lab School students through in-person and zoom instruction. Our competitive Lab School team has been selected, and we are excited about the steps ahead.
